Hi there!
I’m Evan Cruz, the founder of How To Earn Great Grades.
I am dedicated to helping you get the information you need to earn great grades in your classes in college and university.
Who am I to claim that I can help you earn great grades in your classes?
Great question.
Well, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a 3.77 GPA, good enough for magna cum laude from Florida International University (FIU). During my last two years of university, the worst GPA I earned in a semester was 3.85.
I consistently scored 20-30 points above the class average in my classes in university, while receiving the top score on several exams in my classes.
One example is this email from my professor for a class I took that featured undergraduate AND graduate students.
Check it out!

Pretty cool, huh?
I have been featured on sources like Best Colleges and Online U, two reputable sources of information for succeeding in college.
Additionally, I have been able to use the same skills I used in university to succeed in the workplace, with one supervisor saying “You’re the best” as a result of applying myself more than every other employee of my kind.
I also use these skills every day to learn new things and grow as an individual. One example of this is being able to take the information I learned about investing to grow my net worth to north of $150,000 by the age of 26.
Rest assured, I have ample experience in learning new things, and I am an expert in taking new information and applying it to be successful on exams and different kinds of coursework like presentations. To my knowledge, there has never been a presentation I earned less than 100% on in college.
I was once in your shoes trying to figure out how to study effectively. I was a C student in elementary school and early on in middle school. I didn’t apply myself to be successful in my classes.
Then, things started changing. I applied myself as much as I could, and my grades went up to Bs and As in 7th and 8th grades. I earned Bs and As throughout high school.
In college, I initially earned Bs, B+s, A-s, and As in my classes.
Then, I blew up.
I rocked my 4th year of college, and I became a star in my classes in my 5th year of college, with only 1 B+ in my 5th year and earning straight As in my final semester of college.
It got to the point where everyone was wondering how I was earning the grades I was earning.
Was it me applying myself and adopting a winner’s mindset to my studies?
Yes, those were parts of it.
But there was another part of it I didn’t realize until I researched why I was successful.
It was because I used study techniques top students use to do great in their classes.
When I found out I was using these study techniques, I knew my success wasn’t an accident. At that moment, I was confident I had the knowledge required to do well in any class.
Might I ask if you’ve asked yourself any of the following questions:
How do I study effectively?
How can I take my grades and improve them to where I want them to be?
How can I take tests in a way that minimizes my mistakes on them?
What are the secrets of top students in college?
How do I take notes?
How do I remember everything in my books?
How do I pace myself on exams?
How do I stay motivated to study?
How do I manage my time on exams?
Or,
How do I earn great grades in my classes?
If so, you are in luck because How To Earn Great Grades will answer all of these questions and give you a blueprint for success in earning great grades in your classes so you can get the career you want and live the life of your dreams!
I wish someone gave me this blueprint before I started college. It would’ve made my academic life easier and I would’ve had a higher GPA than what I earned.
If you are ready to learn everything you need to know to earn great grades, then welcome aboard.
